This course extends your understanding of the role technology plays in our experience of music today and how it affects the way music is produced and listened to. You’ll use technology to compose and arrange your own scores, gaining a thorough grounding in sequencing and recording skills. The emphasis is on practical performance and production skills.

Can lead to: Students often study Maths and Physics A Levels with Music Technology to progress to sound engineering. You could move on to higher education courses in this area and to careers in the music and media industries. Many music degree courses are wholly or partly based on music technology.
