Qualification Success 2009/10
82 students progressed to university in 2010 to study arts and media based degrees. The most popular subject areas were: Architecture, Animation, Fashion, Film, Graphic Design and Photography. The most popular universities for creative arts programmes were University of the Arts London, University of Westminster and the University of Hertfordshire. Aliyah Riyadh, a Harrow College Foundation studies student was shortlisted as a finalist in the top 100 of the Young Brits at Art 2009 competition. Some of our textiles students participated at the IDENT show held at Tate Britain last year. Colleges from across London took part to promote diversity and environment through fashion. Aspiring media producer, Elena Walton completed her work placement at the live set of the BBC’s Big Questions and now she is studying at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
